Briggs Auto is one of the leading Buick dealerships in Kansas and we are very happy to announce that recently the Ecotec 2.0L turbo I-4 engine that is inside the all-new 2012 Buick Regal GS has been named to WardsAuto World;s 2012 “10 Best Engines” list for North America.

This is a great accomplishment for Buick and one that Briggs is not taking lightly. The Ecotec 2.0 L has 270 horsepower and that is the highest specific output of any GM production engine. Regal GS Earns Victory at Silver State Classic Challenge

Back in September, the all-new 2012 Buick Regal GS won at the Nevada Silver State Classic Challenge. The Regal claimed victory in the 120-mph Grand Touring class on September 18, with Bill Rietow driving and John Townsend navigating. Here at Briggs Auto- the leading Buick dealership in Manhattan, Kansas and surrounding areas – we can’t wait to see what the Buick racing team does in the future. We know that everything that is learned on the track enables Buick to make the Regal even better. The new Buick Regal for 2011 and 2012 is quite a feat of engineering.
