The 2013 SRT Viper was unveiled recently.
After months of speculation, the SRT brand finally unveiled the new 2013 Viper to the public – and it didn’t disappoint. The event was the New York International Auto Show, as such a first appearance is fitting of this big of a stage. For months, the SRT brand, a division of Dodge, has been putting out teaser photos that only give a taste of what is in store for the new Viper. Finally, we got to see what it was all about. Even though we don’t have a Viper in stock at our Briggs Auto locations, we do have sports cars in Kansas, like the 2012 Dodge Challenger in Kansas.

As for the new Viper, power is no issue with this car. It offers 640 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque from its 8.4-liter V10 engine. The 2013 version of the Viper offers the best power to weight ratio of any Viper in history. The Viper will come in SRT and GTS trims, so interested buyers get some options there. Obviously, both models offer extreme performance, so you really can’t go wrong.
As usual, the new Viper offers outstanding style in the interior as well, with seats made from Ferrari supplier Sabelt. The Viper will also be fitted with a 7-inch LCD screen in the center of the console that can be completely customized to your liking.
With the fifth generation of the Viper, we feel like SRT really hit the mark on the head.
