As an automotive technician at Briggs Auto Group, you will be expected to perform work specified on the repair order. This work must be performed efficiently and accurately while following dealership policies and procedures. You will need to test-drive vehicles and test their systems and components, using diagnostic tools and service equipment to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems. To ensure that customers stay well informed, you will be expected to communicate directly with the service advisor, including providing an estimate of timing.
Service advisors are responsible for overseeing service orders and ensuring that customers receive prompt and courteous service by overseeing the flow of the drive lane. You will be expected to provide concierge support for owner inquiries and carry out any additional assignments needed to ensure that the customer has a quality experience.
You must also make sure that the work is divided fairly between technicians and ensure that the daily inventory of their time is consistently sold to service customers. Customer Success Index must be maintained at or above company standards, and you must encourage and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and factory and dealership standards. In addition, a service advisor will need to maintain a good working relationship with the factory.

Are ambitious and hardworking in a dynamic environment with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team;
Can learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specs, as well as learning to operate electronic diagnostic equipment;
Have a broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies and lube tech to A-level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair;
Have basic computer skills and minimum GED or high school diploma;
Have a positive, friendly attitude.
In addition, ASE Certification and factory training are a bonus.

Possess fantastic communication skills with customers and have a professional, well-groomed personal appearance;

Have a clean driving record and valid driver's license.
